Project Overview

I designed and developed a user-friendly WordPress website for Online Cooking Diary, a cooking and recipe blog created for home cooks ,brand food enthusiasts.
The goal was to build a visually engaging, easy-to-navigate platform where users can discover, explore, and enjoy a wide variety of recipes without friction.
For content-heavy blogs, usability is everything. So I focused on structure, readability, and smooth navigation to make browsing recipes simple and enjoyable.

What I Did

I built a fully responsive website using WordPress, Elementor, Custom CSS, and Figma, combining strong visual design with practical functionality. The layout was planned to support content discovery and user engagement.
My work included:

• Designing a clean, content-first UI for a recipe blog
• Structuring recipes into clear categories for easy browsing
• Implementing an intuitive search function for quick discovery
• Creating visually rich layouts with step-by-step recipe sections
• Enhancing design consistency using Custom CSS
• Translating Figma designs into a functional WordPress build
• Ensuring full responsiveness across all devices

The Result

The final website gives Online Cooking Diary a polished and engaging online presence.
It makes finding and following recipes easy, keeps users engaged with clean visuals, and delivers a smooth reading experience across devices.
This project helped transform the blog into a structured, user-friendly platform that supports content growth and reader retention.
